Welcome to my blog! site where I tell your all of my stories about my trips exploring the world. I'm telling you about my trip experiences and some tips and guide while traveling alone, so hence I found and created this blog, then finally started writing.

Yes, ROAD AND PLACE, and that's my story site. If you ask me why I named this website? Hmm.. nothing special, just think that what I'm doing while traveling is always find the right ROAD(s) AND see the amazing PLACE(s) from all around the world.

If you are the one of people who wants to start traveling solo or need some inspiration and motivation to visit one places, this is the right place for you.

I was born in Jakarta. I’m obsessed with traveling, photograph, and art. I graduated with a major in accounting and work full-time as an accountant. Yes, being traveler or travel blog is not my full-time job for right now. Intending to make it as a full-time traveler? hmm.. maybe.. just see if it will happen.
Most people may think that traveling is a part of doing a leisure or more recreations. Well-said, it can be the way to recharge our energy and heal our mind. and it's not always about what countries I have been to. However, I think traveling can be more than that. Traveling is about what experiences I have had and opens my up eyes and mind about this universe. More inspirations and life lessons I got from doing this. I can say I learnt such life skills that might not be found in anywhere. Sometimes I think I trained and changed my self and mind to be better from every single moment I had and happened. I feel like my life getting expanded. Like people said, that experience is priceless. That's true!

I’m eager to have new experiences and visit new places as I’m super excited to see something I’ve never seen before.
Traveling is my new lease on life. I have found something that it might have not happened in my life. I can learn new cultures from countries I visited and meet new people from across the globe and interact with the locals as well, sometimes it’s possible for me to make new friends. There’s still a thousand of things in this world I should know. That's what I've been hoping for this life.

I always want to explore some places I have never known before in particular. Traveling abroad was my first thing to do since I was really obsessed to see the world widely. I thought that traveling abroad would cost me an arm and a leg. So, I was doubt to start it since I thought I didn’t have enough money to make it true. It's true that you need to cost money to cover trips, but it doesn't mean that you have to be rich to start exploring. With all of my confidence, I began my first solo journey to explore a place I have wanted to visit where I thought it was easy for the beginner. My travel experience began in 2018. I felt a bit strange at first in this solo trip because I just overthought, may be getting lost, being confused or everything that interrupt my mind quite often, even I just thought that would have been so hard for me to adapt to the new places I have never been at. Well, I could handle it, then the next year, I tried to dare myself to travel abroad much farther. However, this excitement of traveling truly encouraged me. Reading travel blogs as many as possible from any sources was inspiring me to set out my journey and finally, I did!

As you know, in 2020 when COVID-19 spread the world, and it made me or even some of us postpone the trip. I'd held my plan for a year and started again in 2022. Maybe I got to rush to have a trip when some countries start opening their border and of course! my list of country visited just added more.
For now on, I’ve been to 23 of 193 countries, and South Korea is the most current one. I think it’s gonna be more than that because I want to expand my bucket list for sure. Maybe I would unlock 2 countries left, so I would probably have 25 countries visited in the near future. New experience just awaits!
